Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
These and all of the JM Lab Bee speakers provide a quality of sound that is true to life. Cymbols sound correct without using tone controls, the mids are on the money, and the low end is correct but only to a point. Therefore, a GOOD sub is needed with the 907bees, or the 1007 Bee models.
I have had the pleasure of owning various speakers: AR-3s, JBL's, ADS, Microacoustics, Carver Amazing speakers, and others in search of the Absolute Sound (correct sound).
These speakers iminage better than any that I have had the pleasure of owning or using in my audio life. (44 years)

Strengths:
Clarity, timber, imaging, body, and the correct soul

Weaknesses:
Bass could go lower, but problem can be solved with a GOOD sub

Similar Products Used:
ADS speakers,

Summary:
These are the best reasonibly priced speakers made from any high-end company.
Simply stated they do everything quite well (great natural hights, excellent imaging, great detail, and I have run out of adjuctives.
I have owned different speakers over the years: JBLs, Micro Acoustic, Carver, ADS, ARs, etc., and these blow all of my past speaker systems away in all areas.

Strengths:
Clarity, imaging, dynamics, realism

Weaknesses:
Bass could go lower

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $2000.00 from Audiolux Palma

Summary:
Hello to everybody. I can´t understand how it´s been such a long time without anybody has made a review to this maravellous standmounters. These are one of the best sounding speakers I´ve ever heard. They are a french delicious. This is a special edition because of the 25th anniversary of Focal JMLab, so I think it´s very difficult or impossible to find a new pair of them. There are only 1.000 pairs in the world, so lucky the people who own one of them. I´ve listened to another brands and models like Spendor S8e, B&W 805S, Acoustic Energy AE 1 MK III, etc. and I always prefered the 907 Beryllium Signature. They offer at least 90% of the Micro Utopia Be sound for much less price. It´s a real high end bargain. I heartly recommend anyone can buy a second hand unit to have a listen to them. You won´t regret it. My associated equipment is Musical Fidelity A5 CD, AVI Laboratory Series Integrated amp and MIT and Van den Hul inteerconnects and cables. The sound is so transparent, sweet, dynamic but never wild, so polite. A Not fatiguing sound and always truthful and very very musical!!!!!!. Yesterday I listened to Master & Commander Soundtrack (Decca CD) and I was deep impressed, specially with track nº 9, 1st Movement from Bach´s Cello Suite nº 1, performed by Yo-Yo Ma.Simply amazing! This speakers really do the job and could be any audiophile´s dream. If you want more information read the good reviews that french press has written (Diapason, Monde de la Musique and La Revue du son) that can be found in the ancient official web. Or better... give´em a listen!!!!!!

Strengths:
Very musical speakers. Sweet, detailed, transparent. Second to none building. De luxe edition. Realistic high end price. The same tweeter and woofer that Micro Utopia Be. Simply Amazing! Delightful sound!

Weaknesses:
Can´t find anyone. People always say that standmounters produce little bass, but it´s something inherent to the format. Standmounters or floorstanders is a decission that depends on the size of your room, location and the distance you can place them from boundaries.

Similar Products Used:
B&W 805 S, AE1MKIII, Focal JMlab MicroUtopia Be. Sonus Faber Auditor and Domus Grand Piano Teak, DYnaudio Contour 1.4 S, etc.

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
