$0.00 Summary: DCM TFE200
Summary: Great speaker in the under $2000 price range. Sound great with lots of solid bass. No subwoofer needed with the TFE 200. Bass fiddle plucks sound real. You might want to bi-amp them because they like the power, even though they are efficient. They want to play loud. Effortless listening for hours. No fatigue whatsoever at any listening level.
Strengths: Bass is solid. Vocals are incredible! Imaging is good, but not as good as the original Time Window. Great value for the $. No need to spend $ on a subwoofer.
Weaknesses: If you have a weak back, these speakers are not for you. They are heavy. Freight is the only way to get them shipped. They require at least entry level audiophile electronics and source. Heavy gauge wire makes a big difference in sound. Spend the extra $ for at least a 12 gauge wire or specialty speaker cables.
