Review 1 of 11
Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: The holographic image and refined, detail presentation of the Grands can be scary. They make you forget that you are alone in the room, and places you right in front of the band/orchestra. I have them bi-amped at 105w (B&K) for the treble, and 200w (Adcom) for the mids and lows. Give them some power and they love you back: even at high volume there isn't a sign of distorsion nor harshness. Strengths: Warm, detailed sound. Wide soundstage. Superior instrument and voice separation. Beware, your familiar tunes will sound different: they won't sound like recorded music, they'll sound live!
Upon listening, they make you forget they are there, as they dissapear.
Great aestetics, impeccable finish, understated elegance.
Value: a used pair is a steal. Weaknesses: Only banana plugs need apply. Similar Products Used: Polk LS90, Polk LSi-15, Thiel 2.4, JM Labs Electra, JM Labs Mezzo Utopia, Martin Logan

from @nd hand Summary: The Dali Grand is really a truly amazing speaker. The combination with my Marantz PM-14 works out terrific. Probably this is the best combination I have ever heard, and it's just in my house!!! If you ever got the chance to buy these speakers, buy them. You won't be dissappointed... Strengths: Transparancy, detail, bass, warm sound, design... Weaknesses: none. Similar Products Used: B&W 802 series 80.

Review 3 of 11
Price Paid:
$4000.00 Summary: These speakers are awesome-(even in a smallish room, although they are designed for larger set up). Well balanced, magnificant range, supremely capable and revealing of so much fine detail. Handle everything from Led Zep to Arvo Part to Oscar Peterson to Rage against the machine. And pass the Ray Brown Double Bass test without a care.
Essential to spike them and pair up with similar priced equipment to really let them shine, plus appropriate cables.
Currently running with 2 modified Quad 405 II powers and Onkyo Integra CD.
Equal the best offerings of other highish end manufacturers, with the added distinction that they are beautifully crafted and therefore an aesthetic pleasure to behold. Strengths: handfinished cabinets exquisite and the sound is sublime, Weaknesses: weight for moving them. Little known in the industry- so ignorance when seeking appropriate eqipment to partner them with. Difficult to place for effective soundstage, that's about it! Similar Products Used: Dali 850s, B&W Nautilus 803, Mourdant Short,Tannoy, Dali menuet monitors(also excellent), KEF 4, Linn Isobariks

Review 5 of 11 Summary: At least a high-end speaker with allround-qualities! The GRAND does not have that thinny analytical mid- and high-range of so many of todays top-speakers which really can sound horr....! They are big, heavy and made with finest material throughout. And so they sound, big soundstage with open mid- and highrange. Good dynamics and resolution with tremendous warmth in the critical mids! A real bargain. Strengths: Big sounding speaker which works excellent with every music-style. Not harsh. Excellent finish. Weaknesses: Needs good amp and lot of space. Similar Products Used: A lot
