Review 1 of 9

Price Paid:  $350.00

Summary:
Look like easy to install but hard to set it best... I used it about 3 month with lack deep bass, I dislike it... After analyze the problem, I've put another Sub-Woofer in this system... It's complete, no weak point (accept someone want DTS)... I'm very pround in my system until now (2 years)

Strengths:
Easy to setup, cheap price...

Weaknesses:
Hard to make it best, but you can add another Sub-Woofer to fixed the problem.

Price Paid:  $450.00 from HiFi Buys

Summary:
Perfect Balance in a small package. Impressive out-of-the-box package. A cost-effective, no-brainer way to home theater bliss. Using with JVC XV-D723 progessive scan DVD and Philips 34" HDTV in my office media room (10x12).

Strengths:
Quality, clean, true sound reproduction with excellent tuning capabilities through the test remote system. Compact size and Price.

Similar Products Used:

Review 3 of 9

Summary:
Due to a problem with my dvd-rom only dolby pro-logic was used for this system. Nevertheless, sound quality was not unpleasant, depending on the quality of the dvd. The real problem was the subwoofer. I have a Boston subwoofer from their MicroMedia pc speaker set and even that appeared to have more power then the Digital Theater sub, even though the MicroMedia sub is smaller.

In conclusion, Digital Theater 6000 is a great start up system for the beginning, financially impoverished enthusiast, such as myself. If you can afford a few hundred more then the DT 7000 is superior system to the 6000. Good luck and happy hunting.

Strengths:
Simple set up, good value, small size.

Weaknesses:
Weak subwoofer, low power.

Review 4 of 9

Summary:
Balancing of speakers made easy by rotating test tones. In a 16 X 30 ft family room, sound is more than filling, bass is noticeably there for jet fly-overs and thye like. Not as good as my main Music system (also BA speakers), but

Strengths:
Cool Set up, everything is in the box. unbeleivable buy for the money.

Weaknesses:
There are two models, same box- One has an optical port, the other only has a coaxial. The latter was designed for PCs and is being sold on auction sites.
Balancing of speakers made easy by rotating test tones.
Remote could be much simpler and more intuitive. Surround sound remote should always come with a joy-stick or euivalent rockers.

Review 5 of 9

Summary:
For the size and price, this system sounds very good once you adjust it to your room and listening preference. I was able to make the volume abnoxiously loud without distortion. Set up was simple. The supplied brackets work very well abd made speaker mounting a snap (included all mounting screws and lag bolts). The only additional cabling that I needed was a fiber optic cable to connect to my DVD player and an extension for one of my fron speakers. At $475, it's tough to beat this setup.

Strengths:
Price, ease of use, sound quality

Weaknesses:
supplied cables not long enough

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
