If possible, and if time permits, I'd like to thread 4 yellow rubberrings around my husbands erect manhood and walk naked through the streets of an high-income neighbourhood. In summer of course, or else the rubberrings might fall off.

I use this speakers with Sugden A21a series 2 amp and Shanling CD-T80 cdp. The sound is excellent, very smoth and non-fatigue. Speakers have good bass response, yet there is not much energy at botom end.
Listening to vocals and acoustics they shine. You can feel all harmonics there and almost all the detail with natural preservation. Excellent mids and highs. Soundstage is very big with correct instrument placement. This speaker is a bit warmer than B&W ussually are. Aso a little bit laid-back character.
While listening to electronic, you may feel it sounds too calm and a bit non-involving. There is no real punch in bass. Also, while listening to rock you may lack a real bite.
Therefore, acoustic music is the most convinent for this speakers. While listening to classical music and jazz it is realy shines.
Strengths:
Excellent mids and highs. Wide and big sounstage with precise instrument placement. Very detail sound. Boxless sound. Weaknesses:
Not for all types of music. You will lack punch in bass, bite in rock. But for the price, there are no weaknesses at all. Similar Products Used:

I use B&W CDM1 with a CD Rotel 02 and Onkio amplifier....
You can feel the diference...ist´s very very good. It works better with Jazz or bossa nova or any other vocals.
The sound are very well balance; deep; with a good definition, its like an alive concert in front of you.
For the price ( at new) this speakers are very well projected. Strengths:

I've bought the CDM1 in 1996, with NAD 304 Int. Amp. and Mirage PS-20-120 subwoofer. The front-end JVC CD 1050 with
Aragon D2A2.
The sound was great.
This year I've bought a new amp a
Creek 4340 SE, and what a differance a amp makes, I've lowered my sub level, and
now I have a new speaker. Strengths:
Everything but deep bass.
I have the speaker for six years, and I still find new surprise each day. Weaknesses:
It doesn't work very well with low powered amp ( min. 30W ) and small rooms.
Although it is a monitor, it needs much space.

Oh well.. I'll make this as short and as clear as possible.
I didn't like these.
MY system: Musical Fidelity A2, Marantz CD-67SE, van den
Hul cs122/d102mkIII. Home made 28" stands - wood/marble.
I had a pair of Sonus Faber Concertinos for 2 years before
purchasing these hoping to get a similiar sound but
more extended in the bass. This was definately a big mistake. I "blame" my partnering equipment for a poor
sound.
First thing's first, these need a stand not higher
then 24" (mine are 28") or you'll be mising a lot
of bass, wherever you sit!
Secondly, you neeeed! a muscle amp. These won't work
with tubes or low powered class A SS amps! Don't
let the highish impendance fool you, these go from
2-24 ohms, all over the range.
The sound was blury,
foged, and very dry in the highs, unlike what
you'd expect from a B&W tweeter. Mids are detailed
but nasal to the point where you just can't stand it!
And oh, the bass. This was a lot of laughs. Yeah, sure
these go low, I'd say linear to some 50Hz in room but
it's almost like all the bass range is down by 3dB when
compared to mids/highs whereever the speakers are
in the room (so it's not due to positioning).
The only thing that these did well in my system was shaking
the window panes.
I suspected it was due to my amp so I tried a yamaha
RXV-596 at friends house on 20" stands. The overall sound
was a lot better, bass finaly having both depth and definition, mids were not nasal but very clear/clean as were
the highs.
Conclusion!
The best these can do is a highly detailed detailed,
neutrall sound that many will like. These will never
sound warm or soft, go get some sonus fabers!
What you get is power, dynamics and overall dry sound.
Built like a tank too!
P.S. I got a pair of Celestion 3mkII's for a fraction
of the cdm's price & like 'em much much better.

When used with right equipment, very tight, extended and
dynamic, neutral. Weaknesses:
Bass too stiff for my liking and lacking in quantity (not depth). Need very stable & high-current amp. Similar Products Used:
