from audiogon Summary: I really like this amp. I would charaterize it as smooth, with plenty of power. I have been using it in my system for about 4 months, and I think it is just now really getting broke in. Very fast defined bass, with smooth highs, that make listening to this amp a pure pleasure. I have owned other modial amps, and products in the past. I really like there idea in keeping the sound path as simple as possible, not to degrade the sound. I also own a rotel 1075 amp. I did a little side by side comparison of the two amps. I found that the aragon just total blew the rotel away. The rotel didn't come close in the smoothness, or refinedness of the aragon. Another major thing I noticed was when you power of the aragon, it takes five minutes for the unit to run out of reserve power. The rotel just turns off, no reserve. I would recomment this amp. Thanks Strengths: Very smooth detailed highs, and fast tight bass response. Looks of power. Weaknesses: Company is a mess sense klipsch purchased them. Balanced inputs would be nice. No 12-volt trigger Similar Products Used: rotel 1075, acurus 200x3, marantz
