The resulting combination of an 8 kg (17.6 lbs.) chassis, a 40 mm platter with ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB), and two 20 mm acrylic chassis plates sandwiching an aluminium plate all add up to a massive 17 kg (37.5 lbs.) turntable.
