from BestBuy Summary: Overall, I'd recommend the TV to anyone who wants an excellent picture in a moderate price range. I've had no repair trouble at all and enjoy the picture immensely. Strengths: I've been very happy with this TV, especially when I recently plugged in a DVD player (Toshiba SD-2800) I felt I could tap the potential of the TV finally. Now the picture just feels perfect.
Besides my satisfaction with the viewing, I've had good luck regarding repairs: in over two years of ownership, including two moves, I haven't had one problem with the TV. The component inputs at back have allowed me to plug in a PSX system, VCR, DVD easily at various times, and any two of these can be attached anytime. Weaknesses: Since I don't use its internal tuner (the digital cable box handles that and the TV stays on Ch3), I don't have that complaint to add.
And through my use of various flat screen PC monitors and a Sony Wega TV, I'm occasionally aware of the curvature of this Toshiba tube, I don't think of it while I'm watching - it only occurs to me when I'm walking by, say, when the TV is off! Similar Products Used: Sony Wega 27" - picture quality of the Sony is extremely crisp, but colors are a little colder (I can't say more or less accurate, but the Toshiba tube feels warmer to me, without being inaccurate) an
