from Costco Summary: All i have to say is that this product is great! I've had it for almost 2 years and i love it. The size of the television is perfect and the price was right. Once i brought this thing home i loaded up the DVD player and the sharpness was there! I mean, all my DVD's looked brilliant on this thing. Next, i hooked up my N64 and this tv made it look awesome also. Last, i attached my Satellite system to it, and the picture is so sharp and colourful!
I would have to say this product is flawless but i can't. Before, my DVD's, video games, or satellite looked brilliant i had to play around with the colour setting a lot...and i mean a lot! It took me a long time, but it all paid off. The next problem on my list with this tv is the fact that there is no component or multi s-video inputs! The component input is not a huge problem but the fact that there is only 1 s-video at the back got me frustrated. To solve the problem, i went to wal-mart to buy a RCA video selector. It wasn't too expensive so i'm not too pissed, plus i think it made the picture quality even better!
In conclusion, i would highly recommend buying this TOSHIBA television if you're looking for a 36" or are pressed for cash. It looks great and it also feels great when watching it. If you can see past the lack of s-video inputs, then this tv will bring you happiness for years to come. Strengths: Price, Size, Sharpness, Remote Control Weaknesses: Heavy Weight, Awkward colour settings, No component input, Only one S-video input Similar Products Used: None
