Summary:
What's not to like with this terrific HDTV. The speakers are on the bottom, so the TV isn't so wide. Beautiful picture quality + Toshiba reliability. Here's what's great: Lots of flexibility in setting up each input (you can store separate profiles for each of 7 inputs). Has DVI, component, s-video inputs. Nice sound, too. Remote allows several stretch modes for 4:3 TV.

Strengths:
Allows for separate settings for each input. Remote has backlit feature. Can adjust scan velocity and noise reduction on each input. Beautiful picture with right inputs. Speakers on bottom minimize width (was critical in my installation).

Weaknesses:
Noticed some red push. Noticed some overscanning of picture. Can't get contrast up high enough to saturate the pluge patterns on the test disk (meaning the black levels cannot be optimized). Input and Pic Size buttons are very inconveniently located on remote. Heavy! It's a tube TV.

Summary:
Very happy overall. Great picture, contrast and color reproduction. Menus are easy to navigate. For me, the most important thing after picture quality was its compact size for a 34" screen. I may have gone Sony, but the case was too big for the smae screen size. I have nor reegrets, and love the tv.

Strengths:
Picture, input selection (you can have different calibrations for each input), audio, size.

Weaknesses:
Price, black level a little high.

Summary:
Very compact (especially width and depth) wide-screen tube HDTV loaded with more features than I'll ever use. Seems to have the technology edge over most other units that I looked at. Infitine adjustments are available for every audio and video parameter on this Toshiba flagship model.

Strengths:
Good menu system that is highly intuitive. Incredible picture quality and decent sound that is center channel configurable.

Weaknesses:
Price....it's expensive and may be hard to find.
