Summary:
We've had problems with this unit since we bought it in September 2002. It has a very high pitched tone that comes and goes intermitently and varies in pitch by station selected. It's been in for service under warranty 3 times, and the "certified toshiba repair shop" can't fix it. I'm currently attempting to get Toshiba to pick it up...permanently. The 4-inch (if that, they may be 3-inch) speakers are absolutely worthless, often you cannot even hear what is being spoken, it's unbelievable how bad the audio is.

Strengths:
The picture quality is great, both in analog and digital.
