first generation flat screen crt tv performs well. Problem is, just died on me after just 7 yrs of average service. I expected a longer life term than this for the price I paid. Overall, the picture quality was ahead of its time when it came out but has been surpassed by $600 tv's within the last 3yrs. Heavy and bulky. I tried to get an estimate to fix it and minimum cost would be around $200 plus depending on what and how it was found. Not worth the cost to repair. Strengths:
Picure quality/flat screen(now obsolete), ok sounding speakers, picture effects(sports,movies,etc), number of component hookups Weaknesses:
