Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $550.00 from Best Buy Electronics

Summary:
I purchased this Television in March of 2002. About 30 days after purchase I started to get off color spots on my screen that turned purple and yellow at times. These started with small spots on the right side of the screen and gradually progressed all over the entire screen. I've had this TV for four months now and have received poor service and support from Sharp and am still trying to get a resolution to my problems. I would not recommend this Television. You can find an ongoing log of my problems at this link: http://www.dropcore.com/

Strengths:
None...the TV does not work as advertised.

Weaknesses:
Poor quality.

Summary:
I recently purchased this product at a very, very low price. I am very pleased with it and have had no problems at all. It has all of the perks...Component, S-Video, Composite(Front and Rear), and Fixed and Variable audio output. Easy to use menu.

Strengths:
Lots of options for the buck.

Weaknesses:
It takes a second when tuning between channels.

Price Paid:  $500.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
Referencing the 32R-S480 model.

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews on 32" and 36" tube TV's, so I was hesitant about buying one. I thought the instore display's picture was better than the higher priced Sony's and Toshiba's. After lugging it home and watching a few hours, I noticed a dark spot in the upper left corner. Normally it was just a shade darker than the rest of the picture, but then a couple days later I noticed that sometimes it glowed red or green occasionally. I also began to notice that the picture quality was not very good at all. On some stations the picture appeared very out of focus, and when I watched DVD's using the component input and even movies through the VCR seemed very out of focus. I'm not sure if it's because the Sharp only has a 2-line filter or what, but even I expect more out of a $500 tv. So I took it back and will opt for a HDTV rear projection tv in a couple of months- the extra money will be worth the much improved picture.

Strengths:
Component input, lighter than most 32" tvs

Weaknesses:
Picture was blurry and out of focus. Glowing spot in upper corner.

My four year old Sanyo 25" tv offers a better quality than this tv did.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Found the TV for only 449.99. Was looking for a low end model just to get my by in my room for a while. Tried an RCA but after several failed attempts to fix a loud buzzing noise I managed to get a refund from AMEX. TV fit the bill and has been working flawless. Sure it's not the best but if you need a lower end model this one is it.

Strengths:
Good picture and sound. Nothing spectaular. Great value for price.

Weaknesses:
Heavy as Hell, bring your bodybuilding friend to help you carry it upstairs.
