Summary:
I bought the 32HX41 in December 2001 after much shopping, comparing, and asking around. I have been so impressed by the set. The picture is, in my opinion better than anything in this size catagory, with exception to the Loewe $4899.99 model, which I am sorry but almost 5 grand for a 32" TV is insane. I have had absolutely no problems with geometry, or with noise, the only two problems that I heard from others. The only thing else I could ask for would a firewire hookup and for multiple picture memories for the seperate video channels. I found a decent way around that, by setting my television for optimal viewing on cable, then used my dvd players adjustments, and the AVIA test dvd to set the optimal settings for dvd viewing. Other than that, I love it. I paired it up with a JVC XV-SA75GD progressive scan dvd video/audio player which I will be doing a review on also. It is an amazing pair up that I fully recommend.

Strengths:
Picture, multiple component inputs, decent sound, especially when used as a center channel only, picture(oh, did I say that), and value.

Weaknesses:
No seperate picture adjustment memories for seperate video channels, and no firewire input.

Summary:
I've had my tv for about a year now. The picture is gorgeous to look at. The line doubler does a great job. I can't stand to look at interlaced video anymore.

I haven't had any of the geometry problems that the previous reviewers talked about.

Summary:
For the past year, I've been trying to convince myself to like this TV. I've been in contact with Panasonic for almost 4 months now in order to fix the geometry problem. They've been to my house 4 times already and I can say with 100% accuracy that the problem is worse than originally and am seriosuly considering asking them to undo whatever they did.

As soon as Panasonic found out that the problem couldn't be solved, they stopped calling me and they never returned any of my phone calls. Shame on them.

Do yourself a favor, pay the extra few hundred bucks and buy yourself a Sony XBR450 TV...it's fantastic.

I will never, ever buy a Panasonic TV.

Geometry Problems. Bad remote. Heavy. Flimsy. Bad Technical Support and service.

Summary:
This TV rocks compared to other sony TVs but this one is HDTV ready. Great picture. I bought mine from the panasonic store which i worked at in costa mesa CA. The TV was refurbished but works great I had a zapping noise problem but got it fixed through the warranty now works great. I would have rather purchaed the 34 inch wide but i coulnd afford it. It sells at the Costa Mesa Store for 1100 refurbished. It was a great buy I think the might ship now. I used to have a sony xbr top of the line and its good but not HD. I like the picture and the cosmetics better on the panasonic

Summary:
I owned one of these for about two months, then returned it for the Sony 32XBR400. The Panasonic's color was great, the price was better than the Sony, I liked the remote because it worked every other piece of gear I have, it has a smaller footprint and weighs less than the Sony. So, what was wrong? In a word, geometry. Geometry problems that could not be fixed via the onscreen menus or by an "authorized" shop. A couple of examples: On Bloomberg TV, as the stock prices crawl from side-to-side, the width of the characters changes – they scruntch, then expand again as they go. Some TV programs, such as the news, use vertical and horizontal boxes or rules for graphic enhancement. On the Panasonic, they are not always vertical or horizontal, but travel uphill or downhill, with wavy sections. The problem was most noticeable in the lower right screen area. Panasonic was not helpful. Their shop could not fix it. I have seen this problem on every Panasonic TAU model I have seen on display in stores. Some people can tolerate geometry problems; I can't for this kind of money. (Note: internet server problems today; if this posts twice, it's not intentional.)
