Review 1 of 9

Price Paid:  $625.00 from Walmart

Summary:
I bought a Panasonic 32' inch screen tv, had alot of great features, the controller was really user friendly. Menu access easy to understand, with many options to play around with. Also what was nice was the audio option, you can either have tv speakers on, or set it to fixed audio out, (if hooked up to a reciever), or variable audio out, (again hooked up to a reciever but you are able to control volume of the reciever by turning up the volume on your tv) Was a really nice product.

Strengths:
S-video, RCA inputs in front and back, RCA outputs in back, Nice menu selection, Good Audio options.

Weaknesses:
Well, i had this tv for 3 years, in the same entertainment center with the same speakers that are video shielded. Well, one day the whole set became discolored. Had it degaused, and in a few days it got magnitized again. Took it back, had a shop work on it only for them to tell me that the "mask" was falling and eventually the tv would be as much use as an automan, great. Not to pleased with Panasonic, especially after reading these articles with the SAME problem.

Review 2 of 9

Price Paid:  $799.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
I usually have bad luck when it comes to the quality of TV's that I have purchased in the past, but this TV has blown me away with the picture. My father owns several Mitsubishi TV's and I honestly believe that I get as good if not better of a picture than he receives on any one that he owns. If you ask him, he won't admit it. The sound is awesome, as all owners may know the volume goes up to 61 but I have never had the sound above 15, albiet I live in an apartment, but setting the volume to 15 receives alot of pounding on the floor from my neighbors. Panasonic has always rated really high and before I purchased mine I did a little research and was rated the best 32" TV for under $1000. I got lucky, Best Buy had the regular price at $799 marked down to $649 and I had a coupon for 20% off any item in the store (credit card discount)so I actually paid about $625 after taxes. Best buy I think I have ever received on any product. O.K., setting the picture as to how I wanted, took me about an hour (only downside)but after I got it where I wanted it, Whoa!!!

Strengths:
Great Picture, Great Sound, Universal Remote

Weaknesses:
Picture Settings

Review 3 of 9

Price Paid:  $599.00

Summary:
I purchased the TV less than 4 years ago, I got lucky at the time of the purchase when the TV on sale was not in stock, they up graded my purchase to a Panasonic CT32G22. For the money at the time it looked like a good deal. You get what you pay for!!!!

Strengths:
TV's picture was good, except for screen discoloration at the right hand side and some white lines that came in and out around the edges.

Weaknesses:
This TV lasted less than 4 years!!! I took in for repairs at a Panasonic authorized repair shop after the TV started taking long amounts of time to warm up and then it just quit coming on. Repair shop fixed 3 weeks later for $200.00 and got it home and did the same thing, only this time not repairable. Currently going round and round with Panasonic for answers to why a $600.00+ purchase would only last this long and then have to be thrown away. Moral of story is pay the extra money and buy Sony or even RCA that will last. I will not purchase Panasonic anything from now on out.

Summary:
The Panasonic ct-3269s TV that I have. Started showing yellow and purple color in the top right corner after 10 weeks. The repair tech can't fix it. Now it has to go to another shop. The set is going to be in the shop more that it is going to be in my house. I would not buy Panasonic again.

Strengths:
Large picture

Weaknesses:
Not built to last

Review 5 of 9

Summary:
Excellent TV. I have experience none of the problems mentioned in the other reviews. The image is crisp and clean with cable, DVD, VCR, everything. One thing that totally surprised me is the sound! Excellent for TV speakers!
I recommend it if you want to buy a good TV but not spend too much money since you'll probably be replacing it with an HDTV in the next few years.
For the record, my friend has the same TV but the previous year's model and also has no problems with it.

Strengths:
Excellent picture. Dark tube. Good sound.

Weaknesses:
None yet.
