Price Paid:  $309.00 from Video Only

Summary:
I bought this TV after I returned a previous 27" flat tube. At the price I paid, I'm more than pleased with it. The colors are great on this TV, it's uniform through out the whole tube, not to mention quite vibrant. I didn't particularly like the the Theatre Pro preset. It shifted the whole picture toward brown, you could definitely notice it in the whites. I'm not sure if the producers really intended for it to look that way. It's easy enough to choose a different preset though so it's not really a problem. Once the picture is fine tuned, it's STUNNING. The sharpness was also very good and consistent across the entire viewable area. I also liked the vertical compression for watching widescreen movies. Focusing all the scan lines into the middle really brings out the details. I was stunned at how good DVDs look using this feature. So far I've only used the S-Video input, I'm sure with component this would look even more stunning. I also liked how it can read the broadcast information and disply it along with the channel number, that's quite useful. The audio processing is also quite nice, it adds some depth to normal broadcasts.

Strengths:
+ GREAT picture, color, focus, vibrance, all there
+ Flat tube
+ Elegant cabinet, it's understated but very appealing
+ Sound processing/virtual surround
+ Much cheaper than Sony/Panny/Toshiba with comparable quality/features

Weaknesses:
- None I can think of
