Summary:
I purchased my unit back in 94/95. I needed a tv/vcr and quick. I was in Target (not an electronic mecca) and I VERY reluctantly plucked down about $300 for a "FUNAI." What the hell am I doing?... I wondered. TV/vcr's were not easily found back then... bottom line.... the FUNAI has performed wonderfully, and it's still a helpful toy to have around.

Strengths:
Good picture, durable, consistent performer

Weaknesses:
Horrible remote control
