from Anywhere Summary: Well, I really own a 10Ht but I am quite familiar with the more recent 12HT. I just felt compelled to post a review based on the first and only review below. Yes there are differences between DLP and LCD, but the bottom line is a projector needs to be properly calibrated to be reviewed. As such, the 12HT can give you an excellent home theater picture. While not having the same black level and contrast ratio as DLP, you get a bright and color-rich picture without any DLP side effects (rainbows, and various sensitivities to colorwheel). At normal viewing distances, screen door effect is non-existent... Just take the time to calibrate a projector properly, or better yet, hire an ISF technician who will have the knowledge and appropriate tools... I will give it 5 stars to balance the previous rating, 4 is probably more accurate, though if you are new to PJ, this one will blow you away when properly set up... Strengths: resolution, brightness, accuracy after calibration... Weaknesses: contrats ratio (black level) -relative...
