Price Paid:  $4500.00 from onecall.com

Summary:

I received this projector 2 days ago and I have been in video heaven
ever since . I previously operated a panny 900 and I was impressed with that, but
it seemed somewhat out of focus. Well this Sony Pearls image is razor sharp, detailed, and has excellent contrast. The 106" image fed by my toshiba hdax1 hddvd player is stellar.I calibrated the greyscale with my optic one and avia test discs and couldn't be happier with the resulting image.Sony has hit a homerun
with this product, it has everything you could want at a price that other manufacturers will have to contend with.

Strengths:
best large image I've ever seen
smaller than the ruby
brighter than the ruby
less expensive lamp
great price vs performance
sharpness,detail and contrast= 3d picture
no pixel structure or sde even at close distances
no rainbows
plenty of tweekable menu options
silent fan
attractive style

Weaknesses:
remote could be better but not entirely bad
