Price Paid:  $10000.00 from ADRIANS HOME THEATER

Summary:
Runco really knows what they are doing, after using this projector for almost a year it has no shortcomings. I'm using a screen 95 inches wide and would strongly suggest not to go larger than that. With my Dwin Transcanner set 833 lines the picture is absolutely breathtaking. A larger screen would sacrifice to much with these size crt's.
HDTV provided by Directv will leave you wanting more, more, more! After seeing what HDTV has to offer on this projector you will have a hard time whatching old NTSC. I've Seen Directv high-def on a lot of displays from princeton direct-view to Pioneer rear-projection and Dwin front-projection. This projector beats them all hands down, I really believe the only thing that can beat this Runco will have 9" crt's and therefore cost 20 grand more..
If you are in the market for a front projector don't even waist your time looking around, see if you can get one of these before Runco runs out of chassis. If you can't get one of these get another Runco, they really are second to none.

Strengths:
Bright, Sharp, and colorfull.

Weaknesses:
Two noisy fans

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
