Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $2250.00 from ebay

Summary:
This projector has flat out impressed me. Very sharp and detailed image on dvd playback. Colors are very rich and the black level is very good. It does good on other sources but dvd is where this unit shines. I highly recommend this projector. You can supercharge this baby by adding an anamorphic lens which I plan on doing. There will be a 33% increase in rez and a 20% increase in brightness. Combine all of this with a Vutec SilverStar screen and I will have a picture that will rival that of Loews. If you have questions my new email is TDCALONZO@HOTMAIL.COM.

Strengths:
Color,brightness,black level,sharpness and detail.

Weaknesses:
Just a tad to noisy. Need to put inside a "hushbox" which reduces this common problem.

Similar Products Used:
Infocus X1(nowhere similar)

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
