Strengths: cheapWeaknesses: Rainbow effect, short lamp life, false claims, dim output, gets dust in the light path easily, terrible customer support.Bottom Line: While this projector claims quite a bit, it fails in the most important accounts. Firstly, Benq advertised this projector as having a superior 3x color wheel, elimatinating the rainbow effect of the other sub $1000 projectors. 6 months later, they admitted that the projector has only a 2x color wheel. They also claim 1500 lumens, when tests have shown that the projector rates about 800 lumens. It was cheap, I just expected them to live up to the claims. Lastly, the lamp only lived to 400 hours. Benq says lamp warranty is only 90 days and I should purchase another lamp ($400). So if (when) my new lamp only lasts another 400 hours, the entire unit surely be out of warranty. The 400 hour limit is widely claimed by other PB6200/PB6100 users

Strengths: Price vs. valueWeaknesses: Probably better machines with greater resolution out there.Bottom Line: Was originally looking at Samsung DLP TV and saw the BenQ. After reading some reveiws from other sites decided to purchase. The unit works great and colour is very suite. My kids love the large image especially when watching ski and bording movies. Great alternative to purchasing TV.
