Summary:
Very nice picture, loved the tv until just a few weeks ago. The picture started to get bright blue at the bottom corners. Very annoying. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty for it, but after 2 days the repair shop has yet to contact me for an appointment. After reviewing web I found forums that listed similar problems with Sony products. Seems to be problems occurring about the two year mark or even sooner. This was my first rear projection LCD. It will be my last.
Plasma TV's are the better choice in my opinion.

Strengths:
Great picture when new

Weaknesses:
Burn in for screen with scroll bars or station identifiers
