Summary:
Absolutely great TV.
HD looks stunning. SD looks OK, but that's the source materials fault. (These TVs were made to display HD.) FWIW, Sony's do an excellent job of displaying SD. Their BRAVIA engine really helps out.

The only complaint I have is that it's glossy black and it's a fingerprint/dust magnet. Other than that, we're totally happy.

We upgraded from a Samsung HLN-4365 43" DLP RPTV. This is a better TV in every sense. Better contrast, better colors, better blacks, better picture quality, better price, etc.
