Summary:
DO NOT buy anything from RCA ( THOMSON Multi Media ) as they do not warrenty their products. I purchased this unit BLC524 new and the remote stopped working after 4 months so I started to use the buttons on the front of the unit to change the channels on the TV and the buttons started to crack after 9 months.I called to have the unit fixed and they stated they dont fix them and they would replace it if I would ship it back to them .They sent out a shipping lable .Before I shipped the unit back to them, they called me 1 month later stating they did not make the unit any more and told me they were going to give me $450.00 for my unit that I paid $ 600.00 for. They stated to show proof of purchase , and I did .They then called me after they had my unit and stated they would only give me $ 255.00 for the unit they stated they were giving me $450 for when it was shipped. I asked them to send back my unit and they stated it was scrapped....I will see them In court...STAY AWAY FROM RCA>>>>Stay away from THOMSON MULTI MEDIA... VERY POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE>>>>SEE YOU IN COURT GUYS...BRING A GOOD LAWER >>>
