Picked this unit up at Best Buy - I was there to pick up a computer monitor, but then I thought a 1080p TV w/ PC input would be a 2-for-1 deal. So while in the TV section I saw this behemoth for sale as an open box unit. picture looked terrible in the store, but I knew this thing's reputation as the best image in the business.

You get a false sense of size when you check it out in the big BB warehouse. Once you get it home, you fully realize that this is almost overwhelming for a typical room. I haven't had much time to play with it, but I am very pleased with its performance so far. I'll report back when I have spent some more time with it.

NOTE: This unit is replacing a 50" Panasonic 7th gen (720p).
