from HTTP://www.tvauthori Summary: Bought this unit from TVAuthority. Great service and a great product. New plasma technology enables very wide viewing angles, flicker-free picture and bright, vivid colors. Plasma displays replace conventional picture tubes with a system of charged gases trapped between glass, similar to a fluorescent light bulb. These charged gases react with red, green and blue phosphors to create the pictures we see. Plasma technology allows a 42" display to be less than 6" deep. It is awesome!

from www.p;asmadepot.com Summary: Bought this set for my bedroom, have the pioneer elite 710 pro in the den/media room. Plasma TV''s are just very cool I guess because it''s new technology. It is great becuase they take up so little space and you can install them anywhere. That being said though, this display is a dog. I''m not sure if the technology is just not there yet or if you have to spend $15k to get a good, accurate plasma set, but this one is not it. Strengths: Versatility, ease of use, space savings. Weaknesses: Poor picture quality, very inaccurate color reproduction, terrible black level reproduction, low saturation. Similar Products Used: First plasma set and I''m going to get rid of it and either get a CRT or a better plasma.

Review 4 of 6 Summary: This is little more then a low grade Fujitsu. For this kind of money, you can get a 42" plasma panel that actually has good picture quality like the Panasonic or Runco. The black levels, internal signal processing and contrast are absolutely pathetic. Strengths: Shallow Weaknesses: Picture Quality Similar Products Used: Fujitsu 4203,4209,4214,4222; Pioneer 505, Runco PL42CX, Panasonic PT42PD2, Sony (all), Marantz 4280,4290,4298

from ebay Summary: I use this product for my main TV mointor receiving SVHS signals from a sony es system and M&K 5.1 speaker system. Thi is a seriously cool way to complete a top quality surround system in a small room completely out performing standard rear projection TV gear. Video feed it usually DirectTv or DVD. I have not tried HDTV nor have I tried the included amp/speakers.
As a PC monitor it is fine at 800x600 and OK at 1024x768.
Got a small room? Mine is 12 x 12! The combination of a M&K 5.1 surround system and this monitor coupled with decent audio equipment will create a compact, exclusive atmosphere that is different, but easily equal to, a theater setting. Strengths: Seriously good picture on a screen 6" in depth. Also a competent VGA monitor 800x600 Weaknesses: No so good at 1024 x768
