Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $9200.00

Summary:
Two-year old unit started smoking and then failed completely. Power supply failed and took out the rest of the TV. Unit was plugged into a UPS which shows no power line problems. After two months waiting for unit to be serviced was told that unit is totalled and Panasonic will do nothing about it. Pansonic Service was not interested in the problem and not particularly courteous. Last Panasonic product I'll ever buy.

Strengths:
Good picture while it worked.

Weaknesses:
Out $9K after only two years of service. Pansonic Service is about the worst I've dealt with.

Similar Products Used:
Replacing with a Sony PFM-42B2

Review NaN of , from Montreal, Canada

Price Paid:  $8000.00 from Local dealer

Summary:

We have had this plasma for over 6 months, great picture, very bright as it is installed in a south facing room, excellent choice if someone does not have the sq. feets for a large TV as it just melts with the decor.

Strengths:
Very bright, great colors and contrast, thin and light

Weaknesses:
Plasma still expensive
