Wait for good LCD's to come out
Don't get Plasma

Weaknesses:
No TV tuner
No closed captions
noisy cooling fan
No SPEAKERS!
Fragile
Hitachi has poor customer service and tech support
They have cut corners to make the Monitor cheap
