Price Paid:  $2400.00 from Gateway-Telephone Sa

Summary:
After 14 months of use a vertical 1" black line appears on the screen. Two more months produces a total of three. In the meantime gateway states the warranty is up and I must give my first born child to have it repaired if it can be repaired. The cost included charges for bringing in one of their repair tech's from God knows where to install a circuit board which none of the local repair tech's could get their hands on. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK! I have now replaced it with a Sony model. The thing that really burns my buns is that I have a 20 year old 32" color TV in my garage still performing great with no bench time. I buy into the plasma hype and get burned. NO MORE GATEWAY FOR ME!!!!
