Summary:
I purchased this TV from Best Buy for $2199 - 10%, so I paid approximately $1999. The picture quality with DVD and LD are very good. Since it is so large, you can see the scan lines...but this is not the fault of the TV. Of course, it cannot approach the line-doubled H95, but it is quite a bit cheaper.
This is a good brand to purchase because there are sites with Service Modes for this brand and you can tweak and fine-tune your TV so it is pretty much perfect.

Summary:
Purchased Toshiba TP61H60 in March 1999. Am very happy with the picture. The set is the center-piece of my HT and presents a clean image when displaying Sat.TV, DVD, or VHS. Prices are considerably lower, I paid $2150 at Audio Video Systems here in Charlotte. Strongly recommend both the set and Audio Video Systems.
