Review 2 of 3

Summary:
This unit needs a small space, and provides the clearest, brightest color picture that I have seen on the market. This includes HD, Digital TVS. To get a better picture one needs to purchase a tube which will take up more space, have a small picture and cost as much or more.
Simply states this is an excellent unit and at the going price it is super.

Strengths:
Excellent Picture Quality

Weaknesses:
At the price I find none

Similar Products Used:
Reviewed the Sony 43" and the Mitsi 46" HD TVS, and for the
dollar the unit provides the sharpest color picture that I have seen. Friends viewing it for the first time asked me if it was a tube unit.

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
As with everything I buy, I research the item way too much. (This drives my wife nuts!!)I looked at Sony, Haitachi, and Mitsubishi. I had my mind set on a Haitachi, when I saw the Toshiba. I'm glad I did. With the size of my room, I sit about 10 feet from this set. The picture is outstanding. The sound is good enough for watching the news or some stupid sitcom, but I use a Dolby Prologic setup for movies. I upgraded my DVD player to one with component video outputs, but can't really say I saw any difference from the S-Video I was using before. I bought the matching stand for this set, and it puts the television at just the right height. Overall, I would reccomend the Toshiba 43 inch rear projection set for anyone that wants a big screen without the investment in room space required by a big screen.

Strengths:
The size to picture quality ratio is just about right. Anything larger in a projection set, and the horizontal scan lines start to be annoying.

Weaknesses:
The clear cover over the screen causes some reflections.

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
