Review NaN of , from Mission Viejo, CA, USA

Price Paid:  $2850.00 from Crazie Eddie

Summary:
DO NOT BUY THIS TV. The biggest mistake you can do is buy a big screen TV from the internet. If you have a problem with it you are doing battles over the phone. The TV burned after 10 days and neither Crazie Eddie or Toshiba wanted to help. It took Over a month and 7 visits from a Toshiba tech before the TV was fixed. I kept asking Toshiba to replace the TV but they refused to do so. Toshiba has NO SENSE of customer service. If any one at toshiba is reading this I hope they know I will tell everyone I know not to buy Toshiba because of their service. What I finally had to do was to call my credit card company and put a hold on payment and that get the ball rolling. The TV has been working now for a week but I am not sure how much longer it will work for. Please take my advice and stay away from this TV.

Strengths:
size

Weaknesses:
The Blue projector is not clear enough therefore you get a blue blur around everything. The Color converjence is a joke and can only be adjusted by a tech. The service department of TOSHIBA does not even know how to spell "Customer Service".

Review NaN of , from Thornton, CO, USA

Price Paid:  $3400.00 from The Big Picture

Summary:
I purchased the TV for its excellent picture quality for the price
however I ran into delivery problems, quality problems with the TV
and customer service issues.

Strengths:
Good styling and good picture quality in spite of screen problems.

Weaknesses:
The Big Picture did not have the facilities
to deliver such a heavy TV and get it into
my basement. My neighbors helped.
The screen is bowed inward by over 1/4"
which causes reflective and viewing
distortion. This was partially mitigated
by their built in adjustment system that
can only be used in Technician mode.
Toshiba's customer service is horrible.
The customer is certainly not right in
their eyes. They made me feel like the
screen problem was my fault and I was
going to have to pay to even have them
look at it even though it was still under
warranty. Fortunately I found a Service
Representative that was willing to help
