Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $1999.00 from Sears

Summary:
This is a nice TV. We looked at different ones, but this one had the best picture for the money. I had been completely satisfied up until about a month ago. Being hearing impaired, I rely on closed captioning quite a bit, so I had it on constantly. I turned off the captions to watch the Masters and that's when I noticed the caption boxes were starting to burn into the screen. It became very annoying knowing that it was there. Overall, I think this would be a great TV for people who don't need the closed captioning.

Strengths:
Good picture. Good price. Easy to work.

Weaknesses:
Caption burn-in.

Review NaN of , from Vancouver, BC, Canada

Price Paid:  $1717.00 from Costco

Summary:
The colors are very true and the picture is extreamly sharp. Watching DVD's is amazing. Even when you go close to the TV you cannot see any lines. I saw this unit playing next to a Sony product and was very surprised to see how much sharper the image was on this unit. The price that I listed is in USa funds.

Strengths:
Good looks, nice size, sharp picture, fantastic color.

Weaknesses:
Only 1 super vhs.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $2400.00 from Future Shop

Summary:
I have had this tv for 4 months and I am very impressed. When using regular cable or vcr the picture is great. When watching satellite the picture quality is amazing, and DVD blows me away. When I first started looking for a big screen I was leaning toward the bigger names like Sony, Hitachi, Toshiba etc. I am very happy that I settled on the Samsung.

Strengths:
picture quality, very nice cabinet, component inputs (2)

Weaknesses:
remote not illuminated
