Samsung HL61A750A 61 in. HDTV Television
1 Reviews
rating  5 of 5
MSRP
Description: The Samsung HL61A750 offers the sharpest and clearest images available in an HDTV. Despite its impressive 61" display this rear projection HDTV is surprisingly thin at only 14.4" deep. The HL61A750's DLP chip is faster than any other HDTV technology, with millions of mirrors switching on and off 15,000 times a second to deliver ultra-sharp picture for fast moving images. When combined with Samsung's Cinema Pure light engine, the result is a crisp, bright picture with deep, rich colors that is closer to film.

Price Paid:  $1369.00 from Crutchfield

Summary:
I purchased the HL61A750 Samsung from Crutchfield, with a great price, and even better delivery. The TV is simply amazing. The picture is even better than in the local displays, and quite bright. I even had to adjust the brightness, and some other minor adjustments that come at default sttings. It has LED display, so there is no lamp to replace, plus the LEDs give you a sharper and brighter picture. You can not find anything at this size to beat this picture quality, and at this price. The other TV I considered was the 65" Mitsubishi Diamond series, but it was almost a $1000 more. This is simply a great buy, for years of enjoyment, and Crutchfield has 30 day return, with shipping paid both ways.

Strengths:
Amazing picture, easy to set-up, with multy picture adjustments.
If you have other Samsung units, the TV interacts with them automaticaly.
Using 3 HDMIs simplifies connections
Displays photos through an SD card reader
USB in the rear for ipods, & etc.

Weaknesses:
Very thin sound, but most people will use surround sound anyway.
