Review NaN of , from Quebec city Canada

Price Paid:  $2899.00 from La clef de Sol

Summary:
This review is for the model HCM5525W. First of all, the Sony interest me because the quality is high and the price too and wen I compared with others brand like Hitachi I prefer it for the price and the picture is less black like the movie " Blade 2 " and the sailer tell me ' It is Hitachi who made the lens for Sony ' so I have take the decision to buy Hitachi. The day to buy, I saw a new TVHD in the store with amazing picture "who knout out" the Sony and Hitachi and for me I don't check the price because I am sure that with this picture and the beauty of this TVHD the price must be higher to but NO this is the sale with boxing day and I have had this TVHD for $ 2899.00 canadian buck amazing for the price ( the others $ 4499.00 and $ 4999.00 ). And the garanty? For $ 250.00 I have had 7 years of full and plenty garanty so I leap on (this expression exist in english) and return to my home with a very big smile. After 5 months of use I recommand highly this SAMSUNG HCM5525W.

Strengths:
First of all the picture is crisp and the details are present. When the movie is very black like "Blade 2" you are able to see the movie and for me it is very important and this TVHD gives to me. The auto focus is very simple and good. Sometimes the light of the sun is in the front of this tvhd and we can see the picture without changes something.

Weaknesses:
More that 1 s-video and I don't like the joystick on the remote control

Review NaN of , from Lexington, MA USA

Price Paid:  $1999.00 from Cambridge Sound

Summary:
This is a great RPTV especially for the price I paid. The quality of the picture and sound are great on a PS DVD. When the TV is turned off, I can notice a white area around the middle top of the back screen, I don't know if this is a defect. The picture also have to be re-adjusted once you move this projector

Strengths:
Great picture and sound for the price. Two Component Videos (HDTV & DVD), PIP.

Weaknesses:
White area in the middle of screen when TV is off???
Internal speaker does not provide Center Speaker output when connecting to a receiver.
No automatic adjustment of picture calibration.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $1650.00 from HH Greg

Summary:
One thing is for sure, this baby looks a lot smaller in the store then it does when you get it home... Be sure that you measure twice before you buy have owned this set for since November, with little to no problems with the set, my problem has been more with the inferior cable company that pipes that so called "digital" junk into our house. If you have a poor cable signal, you should upgrade to satellite. When you throw a poor signal up on a screen that big, it's a bad thing. Well, in my opinion, the set performs very well, with rich, warm, and even color you would be hard pressed to find a picture this good at such a reasonable price. The audio system performs up to par, if you don't feel like running your home theater system. A side note, purchase the extended warranty, and have a tech come out and professionally converge your set, it's worth the extra few dollars.

Strengths:
Audio system, and a good picture quality.

Weaknesses:
Hard to manually converge, cheap remote.
