Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $999.00 from Good Guys!

Summary:
If you can deal with the "larger" size (as compared to plasma, LCD, rear projection LCD, LCOS, and DLP), you won't get more for your money!

Strengths:
* Excellent picture quality (sharper than the Sony rear projection) * Ability to define and memorize display settings for each input source * Unbeatable price point * Fairly simple remote and navigation screens

Weaknesses:
* None beyond the inherent shortcomings of CRT rear projection (limited vertical / horizonal viewing angle)

Similar Products Used:
Sony 42" rear projection LCD Panasonic 37" plasma

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $1075.00 from Sound Advice

Summary:
Great Picture. Picked it up on a closeout deal, best value in a TV I could find. I haggled the proce down to half the original MSRP.

Strengths:
Picture, menu interface, inputs

Weaknesses:
internal speakers, not for use in glare prone (high sunlight) rooms, but most projections are

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $1500.00 from Bernies

Summary:
This is the most incredable TV I have seen. I had done my homework with this TV, I have always been a huge Mitsu fan as far as cars, I own a 94 Eclipse, and was a Sony fan for electronics. I mainly purchased Sony in the past because it was the best you can get for the price and I have never been let down by a Sony product yet. As far as bigscreen tv I have to say Sony has a lacking quality for picture? The tv it self{box and stand) was very atractive but once yop turn it on it lacks? Any way I compared with Toshiba, Panasonic,Sony, and Samsung and folks there is no comparing with the Mitsubishi... I guess you got to leave the bigscreen with the inventor!! Picture is unreal, sound is ok, but speakers are to small, Looks awsome(box and stand), Menu's are very easy to scroll through, Just the perfect tv!

Strengths:
Quality of picture, looks of box and stand, menu's!

Weaknesses:
Speakers to small, but really not a weakness cause when you are buying a hometheater Mitsu probley figures surroundsound systme is going to go along with it.

Similar Products Used:
Mitsubishi DVD's DD-4030,DD-6020, VCR Mitsubishi HS-U747,Panasonic hometheater SC-HT400, Toshiba 21" tv, Sony VCR.

Summary:
great tv, has great color guns, and has a ton of inputs. I bought this tv through my discount so thats why i paid so less, but even the 1700 youll have to pay is well worth it.

Strengths:
-great color guns -light, easy to cary -nice, easy simple remote -great service through mits, if anything goes wrong (in home service) -one of the best brand name tv's out there (outperformes sony)

Weaknesses:
-no built in tuner -sound is average

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
