Review NaN of , from Friendswood, TX, USA

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Home Theater Store

Summary:
I bought this TV from The Home Theater Store and they did me the great service of delivering it upstairs for me. This TV has a very clear picture. I did a basic convergence setup on it myself, waiting for after the holidays to have it professionally tuned. Even with a basic THX optimizer setup from SW EPI DVD it looks fantastic. All of my family and friends are very impressed with the quality. That is saying a lot since it is such a big screen. I haven’t gotten the opportunity to use the firewire ports yet, but will write another review when I do. I was watching this TV for about 3 months on my old Onkyo 6 disc DVD using S output. I recently bought (2 months ago) a Sony DVP-NS755V with progressive scan and the picture is great. If you save up your money (or sell a motorcycle) this TV is definitely worth it. With 9” color guns it makes a clear 73” image possible. Don’t forget Mitsubishi’s technology guarantee. If a new technology comes out and your TV can’t be upgraded to it, Mitsu will give you the full purchase price of your TV toward the purchase of a newer model that can! I love that about it, lets me know that I will not have to sell mine for a song later if I want to upgrade.

Strengths:
Great Picture, transport menus are easy to use

Weaknesses:
pricey, but worth it
