Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $1400.00 from united audio / tweet

Summary:
Bought this new in 1999 and in the 3rd year the convergance crapped out. After 6 visits by Tweeter service and over 1 year later they are telling me its too old to fix. The thing was in the 3rd year when the problem started. I will never oun another Mitsu TV EVER AGAIN. Mitsu refused to do anything saying it was out of warrenty. its a shame when you pay for what is supposively a good name in quality and nobody can fix it. Oh well now I can get me a Pioneer elete!

Strengths:
The remote controller works

Weaknesses:
Too many to list

Similar Products Used:
Sony, hitachi, panosonic

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $1300.00

Summary:
Very sharp accurate picture, even geometrically. Unfortunately the convergence circuit died after only 2 years, costing $500 to repair. Complaint to Mitsu yielded free replacement part. However after repair, the picture was terrible. Sold it off.

Strengths:
Picture, features.

Weaknesses:
Infamous defective Mitsu convergence board.

Similar Products Used:
none

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
