Summary:
This TV is absolutely amazing. Hitachi color guns that make the picture are probably the best on the market. This TV displays Television shows in HDTV due to it built in tuner and has an amazing picture when dvd's are viewed using component video cables. The unit has rolling casters (makes it easy to move when you need to add that new wire or just clean behind it) front set of inputs with S video, all inputs on back (x4 of them have S video capability and 2 of them have component video. The sound from the speakers is wonderful to complement your center channel speaker if more volume is required if not you can opt to turn these speakers off so you dont distort your center channel sound (if that is the case).

Strengths:
Wonderfull and easy to use Menu options, PIP, dual antenna tuner, auto and manual adjust for the color guns. This TV even has a feature that adjust the tint, and brightness automatically by reading the ambient light in your room. WOW!!!!

Weaknesses:
Large Size if you have a limited space.

Summary:
This HD TV by Hitachi is awesome. The s700 has the hi def tuner built in and I pull 9 stations right out of the air. Wher this tv really excels is with a progressive scan DVD player. One I calibrated the tv with Aria, the picture is absolutely stunning! The tv also has a DVI input for futute expansion. What more could you ask for?

Strengths:
-Incredible detail, rich color saturation, HDTV Tuner built in, DVI input

Weaknesses:
A tinny-tiny bit of red push, probably due to my calibration.
