Summary:
This TV has been a solid performer for going on 4 years. I especially like the cablecard (eliminates the need for a cable box) input and the crispness of the colors. It also has a very cool auto-on feature that allows you to set what source the auto-on works on. For me, when I turn on my Xbox 360, it automatically turns on the tv. Pretty cool!

Overall, with zero problems in 4 years, I'm very happy!

Price Paid:  $2500.00 from Rex

Summary:
I recently purchased a 42V710 and have had nothing but disappointments. First I hooked up my Xbox with the HD AV pak only to see that it looks worst in 480p, 720p and 1080i than 480i. Then I get my cable box upgraded to Digital and can only get 480i using a DVI to HDMI input. Well, I'm calling the cable company tomorrow to see what they can do on their end. I'm also calling a certified repair tech to make sure nothing is wrong with the T.V.

Strengths:
Good DVD quality movies but just seems a little better than tube. Nice design.

Weaknesses:
I have 3 Digital inputs DVD, Cable, Xbox and there is only room for 2.
