No sub since I live in an apartment, probably add a Velodyne later. I use system for home theatre primarily, but it is good musically too.

Bottom Line: I went to Circuit City to buy the FX500's and saw that they had the FX1000's and the CS1000 on clearance at nearly half price. I asked the salesman if the price was correct and he said, "Yes". Needless to say I broke out the credit card so fast the salesman got whiplash.
This is one of the best surround out there. Bar none!

Bottom Line: i purchased this product earlier this year and am very pleased with the clearresponse and definition even at high volume levels. i highly recommend this
speaker esp. as a match to most high end polk audio speakers!!!
