Strength:

Huge surround soundfield.

Weakness:

When using banana plugs a little extra dry wall triming is needed because it is very tight.

Wow these speakers are unbelievable. You really do not know where the surround effects are coming from because they just seem to come from everywhere which is exactly what the theater gives you. I had paradigm atoms v2 before which are great speakers but for surrounds the adp 370 totaly blow them out of the water. I am sure they would even skunk full range tower speakers for surrounds. Some people say dipole speakers are no good for music but I have had both and I prefer the ambient sound of the dipole speakers. I have my adp 370's matched up with mon 7's and cc 370 v3 which gives a perfect timbre match.

Strength:

Solid built, clear highs Strong mid's and bass for surround speaker Wide-range reverberant sound field

Weakness:

Price?? but they're 2 Mini Monitors in 1 cabinet. Size and weight could cause placement problems.

I recently upgraded my surround speakers from Paradigm Atoms v2 to the ADP-370 v2 and as much as I liked the Atoms reproducing surround effects, they don't come close to the ADP-370's. These babies produce a surround effect far more enveloping than the "direct-radiating" Atoms due to their reverberant sound field. Even more surprising is the bass that the ADP-370's produce. The trasition from from to back and back to front is seamless with other Monitor series mains and the CC-370 v2 center channel speaker.

Strength:

Easy placement Affordable Great sound!!!!

Weakness:

None that I have seen

I picked these speakers up as some demos from my local dealer. Not only did I get a great price (including the 5 year warranty), the speakers had already been broken in. The sound that you get from these speakers cannot be touched at this price point. The highs are unbelievable and the midrange sounds great as well. Placement of these speakers is the easiest that I have seen. It takes very little time to find a "sweet spot" because every where is! You should definetly look into these speakers if you are looking for great dipole surrounds.

Strength:

robust rear dipole with enough power and dispersion to be truly "home theater"

Weakness:

_

if you are looking for a quality product at an excellent price, paradigm has proven itself over and over again to deliver the goods. if you are looking for a non directional rear speaker you cant really go wrong with the ADP 370. it has drivers large enough (1" titanium dome and 6 1/2" ICP cones, both X 2) to provide you with good strong base and crisp highs, all in a non directional format. the double sided set up of the ADP series dipoles excellently reproduces the banks of speakers found in your local theater, giving you environmental surround sound and not directional. This is especially advantageous with multi person viewing as obviously not everyone can be in the "sweet spot". A solid buy for both a first time shopper (low price) and an audiophile ( high quality )
