Bottom Line: Great solid surround speaker for the money. I bought these and a center after owning bookshelfs (RB-35 I think) for 4 years. My bookshelfs are monsters, most people can't believe their ears. Anyway, these RS-52's will handle virtually anything you give them. I have a 110 watt, 7 chanel amp and at the highest volume possible (before all the neighbors grab the pitchforks) all my speakers are perfectly clean. My RW-12, 700 watt Klipsch sub will go head to head with anything I've ever heard (which is a lot). My only caveat is you must have a good receiver and plenty of power if you want to turn them up.
