Summary:
I'm 13 years old by the way. My dad got these in a package, does anyone's memory jog when i say millenium upgrade kit? He bought them to go with his 3 year old dolby pro logic Sony STR-DE225 receiver. Overthe christmas holiday we used a technics amp that he got in a seperartes system for 50p from a car boot sale. We decided to use the eltax speakers on the computer with the amp. Plugged them in and played some mp3s. THESE SPEAKERS ARE WASTED WHEN USED AS A PAIR OF REARS!!! Bass isn't as good as full sized speakers but they are 10 times better than BOSE 101 Music Monitors (i know what they sound like at Centre Parcs) High notes are wonderful. At the moment we are using the techinics speakers that came with the system, they are rubbish. SB F44 Technics speakers do not do justice to this amplifier!!!
In a surround sound hookup you really don't notice the high quality sound these speakers can produce. You can now buy them at maplins for £29.99 on their own.

Strengths:
Great bass.

Weaknesses:
Wasted when used as rear speakers
