Bottom Line: I bought these to finish out my system, I am using the following
Denon AV 4800 120x5 watts
POA-5200 amp for front speakers 125x2
DV-37 Pioneer DVD.
VR-975's front
VR-950's sides
VR-920 center
VR-MX rears in white
JBL 15" Sub
125x7 watts
Got them hooked up and playing, I balanced them out with a radio shack sound meter. They are seamlessly integrated with the other speakers. The ones I had before, added a harsh highend sound, with the Lynnfield tweater the MX's really shine. Cost a ton of money but now that I have them wow. Would buy them again, very clear and accurate sound. They have 2 sets of drivers in them and one side is passive. My understanding is that these are meant for the sides not rears. Putting them on the rear wall, aim the active side at the other MX speaker. This will reinforce the rear effect. So far so good.

Bottom Line: This is one of the best surrounds. The tweeters are very clear and crisp. They can handle lots of power without distortion. They can ether be direct or diffuse speakers just buy switching Left and Right. They are expensive for surrounds but they are the best.
