Review NaN of , from Horseheads,NY

Price Paid:  $549.00 from www.bose.com

Summary:
I've read all the bad hype about Bose AFTER I made a purchase on Bose.com. Needless to say, I was ready to return it after all the negative stuff. There was a 30 day trial so I decided to hook it up to confirm what all the sceptics were saying. Guess what? I liked the sound. It was clear and clean, the bass was better than expected. At moderate volume the living room shook! My only complaint was the lack of an appropiate center channel speaker. Unfortunately I had to dish out another $50 for a BIC center channel speaker. It finally sounds great with my new center channel.

Strengths:
Decent sound, cool sleek looks. Decent Bass for a pseudo-subwoofer.

Weaknesses:
Center channel is same small sat. as other four, Shame on you Bose! Too many bulky wires! Overpriced.

Review NaN of , from Mansfield, MA, USA

Price Paid:  $600.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
Great product indeed. But most A/V receivers today are now,
6.1/7.1 capable. But this system is 5.1. So its not conforming to the latest standard.

A weakness I should mention here, is that wall-mounting
brackets are poorly designed, and fixing them and positioning the speakers according to desire is a pin in the
A**S.

Sound quality is great, though not reflecting. Enough amount
of connection wire is given. Do not but any extra wire.
Easiy to fill up 40 Ft/40ft/12Ft room.

Such small speakers can produce so much Bass is unimaginable
.

Moreover, its just BOSE with a 5 yrs guarantee. If you can't
buy, STEAL IT!!!

Strengths:
Great Bandwith handling capacity, even with such small
drivers. Every bit of sound seems crystal clear

Weaknesses:
Bose requires, LFE to be ON and Sub-Woofer Off during the
speaker setup of the receiver. But this is not possible
in many A/V receivers. Marantz SR-7200 supports it.

So buyers should check this out if before buying the
receiver, if they already have Bose AM6II series
