Review 2 of 2

Summary:
I have trusted Yamaha for over 10 years. The subwoofer is great, it has a stunning impact. The bass is well defined for being one of the lowest level of subs from Yamaha. The sub would be good for Home Theatre, but not 2 channel setups because there is no crossover frequency nob. The Sub is set to get the crossover frequency information from the processor of reciever. The sub will work well with a Yamaha reciever because of the Cinema DSP programs. It helps you get more bass out of your sub. I have mine in a corner that is where you will get the most bass response. It may sound a bit muddy so might have to play with it some. When played with the movie Transformers it just thunders. There is so much vibrations coming from the sub that it has already knocked some movie posters in frames off the wall. at first the sub will sound somewhat undefined when it is new but after the 10 hour break in period it sound great. If my Theatre room wasn't sound proofed I would be the most hated in my neighbor hood. I wouldn't give up this sub ev en if I had to. You can't compare this sub to a Paradigm. But other than that I encourage you to buy it.

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
