This is an awesome subwoofer, Ive ran it to reference levels and its yet to even consider presenting distorion or clipping. Obviously there are numerous brands of subwoofers available, but everyone should always understand that what matters beyond anything anyone says is that YOU, as the consumer/listener are happy. Tannoy has been in the speaker making business for a very long time and their orgins are from recording studio speaker systems, so they know what sound is all about. For anyone out there that is shopping around, give the Tannoy TS12 Subwoofer a shot, and you will not be unhappy. Strengths:
Easy Set-Up, Hits the lows of lows EXTREMLY well with no distorion
(Remember: The purpose of a subwoofer isnt to overpower your other speakers, its sole job is to provide the low frequency effects and enhance the overall sound of the other speakers in your multi-channel setup:when used with a home theater setup) Weaknesses:
