It really does the job!!. Something was missing there when this piece of art was not in place. As I live in a flat I ussually listen to music at rather low volume level. Because of this it was a very hard job for the twin 6" woofers of my floorstanding fronts to reproduce good bass at low volume levels. Like every bass fanatic I had to address the point and boutgh this box. The hole system sound changed as a result. It''s a very complete solution: It is powered by an own amplifier, power-port downwards vented, sits on its own base, has a power on-off switch, a phase switch and two controls of volume and frequency cut.
Its HVCD feature makes a not humming tight bass. Very sensible to its position within the room. Try to have soft surfaces so as to absorb all unwanted vibrations such as carpets, armchair, etc.
